ANTI-CRIME proposals, the budget bill and tax bills remain to be resolved in the next to the last week in the 1976 session of the General Assembly.
The first tax proposals presented to the House of Delegates consisted of a beer tax increase, a bill to tax dividends of corporations doing business in Virginia in the same way these taxes are now subject to the Federal income taxation, a surtax or increase in the state income taxes and a bill to tax gains on the sale of real and personal property in full as ordinary income and without any allowance for capital gains as is
