Following the Chester Gap Homemakers’ business session in the Fire Hall Monday, March 8, at 7 p.m., there will be a program at 7:30 for the benefit of all good citizens on the subject, “Voting,” Knowing one’s rights to vote,” etc., Officials of Rappahannock County, as well as members of the local electoral board, are expected to be present. The public is invited.
Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Wines of Front Royal called on Mr. and Mrs. Walter H. Williams, Jr. Friday. Tammie and Rodney Williams of Front Royal spent the weekend with their grandparents, the Williams.
Mr. and Mrs. Eddy Rynex of Reston were recent weekend guests in the home of the latter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. F.P. Rawlings, in the Blue Ridge Mountain Estates. Joseph Pilenaro and sons, Charles and Mark, of McLean spent the last weekend with Mr. Rawlings, and J.W. and Jim Waycaster of Dillwyn plan to accompany Mr. Rawlings on a quail and pheasant hunt next weekend on Cedar Run Hunting Preserve at Catlett.
