UNICEF supported
Rappahannock Methodist Youth Fellowship will be trick or treating for UNICEF on Sunday, October 31st from 4:30 - 6 p.m. UNICEF is the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund.
Groups will canvass the Chester Gap, Flint Hill and Washington communities. For others who wish to contribute, donations may be made in designated containers to be placed in community stores and banks. □
Political rally
The Democratic Rally scheduled for Saturday, October 23 at Rappahannock County Elementary School will feature a free barbeque beginning at 8:30 p.m. A. H. Keyser, chairman of the Rappahannock County Democratic Committee, said the rally is open to the public and he encouraged all who are interested to attend. “There will be good speakers and good entertainment,” said Keyser. □
