THE 1977 ASC Community Committee elections will be held December 6. The mail ballot method will be used. A list of eligible voters has been prepared by the Rappahannock County ASC office. This list is posted in the county office for public inspection.
Farmers in Rappahannock will be able to nominate candidates for the community committees. Petition forms have been mailed to all known eligible voters as of October 7. These petitions must be delivered to the county office no later than November 26 to be eligible for inclusion on the official ballot. Additional petitions or more information concerning the eligibility requirements can be obtained from the Rappahannock County ASCS office.
