THE annual Rappahannock County Library Book Report Contest is under way for pre-high school and high school students of the County, and the first group is reminded that number one of their two reports is due October 22. Tlie second report is due on or before November 5, the same closing date for high school entries.
All books or articles read for the contest must be obtained at the Rappahannock County Library where the librarians will give help in choosing material. Suggested length is about 350 words, but no precise length has been set. Reports may be typed or handwritten (if neat and legible). Contestants are allowed freedom in organizing the reports, and advice maybe solicited from teachers, parents, librarians, or others, but the report must express in the student’s own words what he got from the reading.
