Slaughter Baptist group meeting at Culpeper Baptist Church Thursday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Clark and Misty Hitt were in South Hill last week to attend the Virginia State Bench Show and Field Trial held at Elm Hill Wildlife Reservation. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. A. C. LeGrand and daughter, Anne, in Boydton and Mrs. Ruth Ogburn at Union Level. Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Bauchman of Culpeper were Monday evening callers of Mr. and Mrs. Clark.
Mrs. Carroll Jenkins, Sharon, Ronnie and Irwin joined by Mrs. Fran Taylor, Jackie and Michael and Linda Baker of Gaithersburg were guests for the weekend of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Taylor of Brandy Station. Sunday evening they were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jenkins and were joined by the Roger Taylor family, Mrs. DeeDee Creel and Michael, and Curtis Morgan of Culpeper, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Jenkins Jr. and Dwayne of Sperryville.
