Stan Settle, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Settle, attended an FBLA conference from Thursday through Sunday in Birmingham, Ala. Stan is the president of the FBLA Chapter at Piedmont Technical Education Center, Culpeper.
The Rev. and Mrs. J. S. Stirman and children attended4 family reunion Saturday in Roanoke and were guests of Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Deacon. Saturday evening Mrs. Stirman was among the charter members of the Youth Choir of the 50’s attending a reunion of that group. The choir performed Sunday at the 75th anniversary of Belmont Baptist Church in Roanoke. The choir in the 50’s had acquired acclaim in state competition.
