THE School Board voted unanimously to authorize Norton to talk to the Supervisors and notify them of the letter and, in accordance with a suggestion from Board member Alan Stokes, agreed to give Norton a letter offering the Board’s wholehearted support in efforts to amend the situation.
Norton pointed out that the drive to change the funding formula was too late to achieve any results at this year’s session of the General Assembly.

The Board approved and forwarded to Richmond both the Special Education and Vocational Education Plans submitted by Assistant Superintendent T. A. Fleetwood.
