In addition, most colleges and universities have incorporated standards into their admissions policies for accepting GED test scores in lieu of complete high school transcripts.
Classes are conducted at Piedmont Technical Education Center every Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:45 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. GED tests are given monthly.
On Tuesday, December 21, Lester W. Deal was awarded his General Educational Development Certificate. Deal and his wife, Hazel, live in Sperryville and operate Sperryville Sandwich Slop and antique shop. Six of his eight children attended the presentation at Piedmont Technical Education Center.
