“We’re not going public or private this way,” explained Davis. He said the decision would be made at the public hearing, but added that rezoning “is the first step in county ownership.”
No mention was made of any specific property in the Supervisor’s resolution to discuss sanitary landfills and conditional special use permits at the work session scheduled for iO a.m. on January 14. Davis also advised that the Planning Commission be informed of all plans and proposals. He explained to Planning Chairman Herbert Barksdale that his Commission would have ample time to consider any action taken by the Supervisors at the work session before the next Planning meeting. □
