“THE biggest question seems to be out-of-county trash,” said Davis. He expressed reservations about imposing too many restrictions on the landfill’s operation. “The more cost you impose on the operator, the more cost he has to pass on to the taxpayer.” In regard to citizens’ objections on the location, “any place you locate a landfill, you’ll have objections but the same people who object are also going to demand that something be done with the trash.”
