OLD DOMINION Hunt’s pointto-point races will be on Saturday, April 9, at Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Eastham’s Ben Venue Farm, 16 miles west of Warrenton off Route 211. Post time for the first of nine well-filled races is 11 a.m., when 20 teams from local hunts will compete in the hunting pair race. Two junior flat races for ponies are next.
The maiden hurdle race with 19 entries begins at 1:30. Several horses that have placed in races this season—Mrs. Robert V. Clark, Jr.’s Moon Soon, Randolph Rouse’s Summer Idyll, J. Arthur Reynolds’ Cine Again, and Jim Hackman’s Goose Kat, are entered.
