Central High School April 15 for the next track meet.
The baseball team traveled to Page County April 1 and walked away with a 6-1 victory. Allen Smoot was the winning pitcher for the Panthers. He allowed four hits while walking five. Allen had two hits and drove in two runs to help lead the team to victory. Nils Aylor aided with three singles.
The Panthers will host Culpeper Monday at 4 p.m.
Ruby Faye Dunn graduated from Piedmont Technical education Center’s of Practical Nursing April 3. Ruby is the first student from Rappahannock to complete the course. Baccalaureate services were held March 27 at the St. Lutheran Church in Culpeper.
The boys track team went down in defeat in a 4 team meet March 31. The ten member squad scored 22 points for the meet. Results are below. Next meet will be April 15 at William Monroe.
