Mr. and Mrs. Francis Updike and Suzanne of Culpeper were Friday dinner guests of Mr. Updike’s mother, Mrs. Jon Updike.

Mrs. Virginia Miller has returned to her home after a trip to Florida. She spent a week in Tallahassee with Dr. and Mrs. James Schuler then flew to St. Petersburg and St. Augustine where she visited friends.

The weekend guest of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas L. Eastham was Mrs. Eastham’s uncle, Arthur M. King of Alexandria. Mr. King was here to attend the confirmation service Sunday of his two greatnephews, Fletcher and Lindsay Eastham.

Visitors Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Keyser were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Slaughter of Leesburg and Mr. and Mrs. Amos Fultz of Stanley.

Mr. and Mrs.^Kermit Weakley spent the weekend in South Hill where they attended the Saturday wedding of Dr. Kenneth Dwyer of Staunton and Miss Jeanne Leggett of South Hill.

Miss Judith Jacobsen and Miss Laura Jacobsen were Friday night guests of their aunt, Mrs. Henry Keyser. Miss Laura Jacobsen was enroute to her home in South Paris, Maine after a year’s study in Ipoh, West Malaysia. Miss Judith Jacobsen is a student at Marshall Wythe School of Law in Williamsburg.
