down there apperared the old willow. Its leaves had just begun to appear about its graceful limbs, and beneath it still grew the wild mint that my sister and I ate so freely of as children.
Around one more bend and through dozens of briar and bramble I caught a glimpse of the house. There she stood, so old yet still so very magnificent. The fence was still there about the yard all rusted and worn, the gate was gone. I walked up to the front porch. There was the same damp evergreen odor about the place I had remembered as a child.
