Officers installed

An installation dinner for the Rappahannock Womens Club was held March 29 at Holiday Inn, Culpeper. At that time the newly elected officers were installed. Outgoing president, Aileen Barnes, installed Karen Bear as president; Linda Hahn, vice president; Joyce Andrews, corresponding secretary; Lynne Baines, recording secretary and Dawn Fisher, treasurer.

The Rappahannock Womens Club is giving a scholarship to a graduate of the local high school who plans to further his or her education at a vocational school. The amount of the scholarship is $200. If no vocational student applies, the scholarship will be given any senior who plans to attend a Virginia college. If a second year of s cooling is needed, reapplication must be made.

Scholarship applications are available from Mr. Futrell, the guidance counselor at Rappahannock County High School, and must be returned to him by April 15th to qualify. The scholarship will be awarded at the 1977 commencement at RCHS.
