It was a glorious childhood, those first ten years of my life, spent in Avon Cottage in the small town of Washington, Va. And now, I in my 26th year, knew I must return to my childhood home.
The day was in March of this year. The sun had never shone brighter that day. There was a freshness in the air, a melody about my ears and gladness in my heart, to really be going home.
There it was, the driveway that leads to the house. As I turned onto it I saw all the tiger lillies peeping out from their winter sleep. I remembered how orange and beautiful they had been and how I had enjoyed picking them as a child. Farther
