Amissville United Methodist Church will hold a Maundy Thursday communion service at the church April 7 at 7:30 p.m.
A community Good Friday Service is scheduled for 8 p.m. at the Amissville Baptist Church April 8 with the Forest Grove Baptist and Amissville United Methodist churches joining in the service. A special musical program will be presented by the choir of the First Baptist Church of Clarendon.
An Easter Egg Hunt will be held at Amissville United Methodist Church grounds on Saturday, April 9 at 2 p.m. for children in the community.
At approximately 5:30 Easter morning a Sunrise Service is to be held at the Amissville United Methodist Church and the morning worship service is set for 10.a.m. The public is invited to these services.
A special Easter Sunrise Service conducted by the Mount Lebanon Baptist Church will commemorate the resurrection at 5:30 a.m., April 10 at Sunrise Hill on the Edmund Burke farm on Route 522 just north of the Boston post office. The Rev. William Lancaster will preside and the public is invited to attend.
Services will be held Good Friday, April 8 at 7:30 p.m. at the Sperryville United Church when communion will be served.
