The annual Spring crusade of the American Cancer Society has been initiated by the Rappahannock Unit of the society under the direction of Mrs. Douglas Laing of Amissville, chairman, and Mrs. W.J. “Jack” Curtis of Flint Hill, co-chairman. These leaders presented the Rappahannock Librarian, Mrs. Colette Kent, with posters to publicize the fund campaign.
