Wanted: past participants in the Virginia YMCA’s Model General Assembly program.
The Board of Directors of the Virginia Young Men’s Christian Association is looking for alumni who participated as teenagers in the Model Virginia General Assembly program. Delegate George P. Beard of Culpeper will head the effort in the Piedmont area to contact past participants in the program.
Former members of the Model General Assembly Program are needed to serve on a statewide alumni association that will aid the Virginia YMCA in operating its youth programs. Attorney General Marshall Coleman, the highest elected state office holder who took part as a teenager in the Model General Assembly, will be honorary chairman of the alumni association. “We want to contact as many Model General Assembly alumni as possible,” said Virginia YMCA president Robert B.
