Mrs. Elizabeth Reading of Manassas Manor Nursing Home was a recent guest for a week of her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. L. V. Merrill. They were visited by Mrs. Stephen Bailey, Mrs. John Norman and Jonathan Bailey. Recent guests of the Merrills were Mr. and Mrs. Venton Channey, Mrs. Bertha Olson and Mrs. Mary Minten, all of Arlington and Mrs. Margaret Swink of Florida. Guests Monday of Mr. and Mrs. Merrill were Mrs. Dorothy Carrico of Nokesville, her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Pitts and two daughters who are Baptist Missionaries to Afrida and are in the States on furlough.
Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Buntin and Miss Nancy Buntin returned to their home Monday after vacationing for two weeks in West Tisbury, Martha's Vineyard, Mass.
Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Hall, Wade, Loudi, Lee and Eric left Saturday for their home in Camilla. Ga. after spending ten days with Mrs. Hall’s mother, Mrs. F. Downing Wood. Guests now of Mrs. Wood are her grandchildren. Comer, Rochelle and Angela Smith of Albany, Ga. who will stay until next Tuesday.
Mrs. Herndon Hudson and family accompanied by Mrs. Earl Menefee and children of Warrenton spent Sunday at Colonial Beach.
Mr. and Mrs. Bradford Fisher and Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Manson are spending this week vacationing in Tappahannock. Mrs. Fisher's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Don Crawford are staying in the Bradford home during their absence. The Rev. and Mrs. Jennings Hobson are also on vacation there.
