What makes an attractive college sophomore decide to trade a summer of dates, parties and lazy afternoons around the pool for two months as a Baptist Youth Missionary in Rappahannock County?
Cindy Harris, a coed at James Madison University from Abingdon, Virginia, knew she wanted to go into Christian work when she finished school but in what field? As a member of the Baptist Student Union at Madison, she volunteered for the Virginia Baptist Board’s summer missionary program and drew Washington Baptist Church as her assignment.
