"I suppose they’re going to try to comply with everything we suggested,” remarked Barksdale in reference to changes in the development’s erosion and sedimentation control plan suggested by Bill Adams of the Culpeper Soil and Water Conservation District. The changes, including a dike to be constructed on the development's Jordan River frontage, were endorsed by Barksdale and Bob Anderson, county Soil and Water Conservation District directors.
Barksdale reported that he and Anderson had approved the erosion and sedimentation control plan for Sperryville’s sewer system. He added that they’d looked over the erosion plan for the Rappahannock Ski Area’s alpine slide and proposed a couple of changes.
Barksdale complimented Baumgardner on the outstanding job he’d done in drawing up erosion plans for county construction projects.
