A Northern Virginia region seminar focusing on agricultural and forestal districts will be held in Culpeper at Holiday Inn beginning at 10:00 a.m., March 9.
The Agricultural and Forestal Districts Act, passed during the 1977 General Assembly session, is primarily a zoning law which allows landowners to voluntarily seek agricultural and forestal zoning through the creation of agricultural and forestal districts by local governments.
