Majors

Services for Mrs. Susie B. Majors, 73, of Sperryville will be held at 1 p.m. today, Thursday, at Hopewell Baptist Church Sperryville with the Rev. U.S. Brokenburr of Washington, D.C. officiating. Burial will be in the family section of the church cemetery.

Mrs. Majors died February 23, 1979 in Sperryville. She was a lifelong resident of Rappahannock County, where she was employed as a housekeeper, and was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, George Majors; two daughters, Mrs. Marie Cottman of Sperryville and Mrs. Lucy Sadler of Long Island, N.Y.; four grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Lizzie Starks, and a brother, Gales Butler, both of Sperryville.
