The Old Dominion Races, Saturday, April 7, will start at 11 O’clock at the Ben Venue Farm course, 16 miles west of Warrenton on the north side of Rt. 211. “tt'fcJofc* as though we will have fun races ahd top horses,” stated Old Dominion Race Chairman, David L. “Zeke” Ferguson, “and if the weather clears as expected, footing should be excellent for the horses.”

The Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department is organizing a flea market to open on Saturdays and Sundays at the carnival grounds beginning in late spring. Anyone interested in renting space may contact Steve Leake at 987-8971 after 6:30 p.m. on weekdays or Donald Gore at 987-8160.
Proceeds from the space rentals will benefit the Sperryville Fire Department’s building fund.
