CHAPTER 18. Turkey. Amend Regulation R18-1 to read as follows;

Except as otherwise specifically provided in the regulations appearing in this chapter, it shall be lawful to hunt turkeys in all counties east of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the Saturday prior to the first Monday in November and for twelve consecutive hunting days following.

NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC The Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries at a meeting held in Richmond, Virginia, on February 23, 1979, ordered the following proposed changes in its regulations pursuant to Sections 29 125, 29-126 and 29127 of the Code of Virginia. A public hearing for the purpose of adopting such changes will be held at the Holiday InnWest, 3200 W. Broad Street, Richmond, Virginia, at 9:3* a.m., April 13, 1979.

CHAPTER 2. In General

(Game). Amend Regulation R2-3 to read as follows:

It shall be unlawful to take or attempt to take wild animals and wild birds, with the exception of crows, by the use or aid of recorded wild animal or wild bird calls or sounds or recorded or. elec trically amplified imitation of wild animal or wild bird calls or sounds. Adopt a new regulation to be numbered R2-13 to read as follows:

It shall be unlawful to set above the ground any steel leg-hold trap with teeth set upon the jaws or with a jaw spread exceeding six and one half inches.
