Shenandoah

On Wednesday, March 28, 1979, Governor John N. Dalton signed the bill which designates 14 miles of the Shenandoah River’s main stem as a Virginia Scenic River. This brings to a total of eight the rivers in the Commonwealth which are part of the Virginia Scenic River System.
