Washington Rescue Squad reported to the D.W. Hitt residence at Castleton and took Mary Craft to Culpeper Memorial Hospital on March 23. Mrs. W. B. Jenkins, who fell at her home in Washington, was taken by Washington March 25 to Culpeper Memorial. Margaret Freeman was taken to Warren Memorial March 31 by this squad.
Shearing Class
National sheep shearing champion Charles Swaim will conduct a VPI sponsored shearing school at Blandy Farm in Boyce on Tuesday, April 24.
The class will run from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Those interested in learning to shear sheep should bring work clothes. For further information, contact the VPI extension office at 675-3619.
