CHAPTER 16. Raccoon. Amend Regulation R16-5 to read as follows:
Except as otherwise provided by local legislation and with the specific ex ceptions provided in the regulations appearing in this chapter, it shall be lawful to take raccoon by hunting in all coutnies east of the Blue Ridge Mountains from November 15 through the last day of February, both dates inclusive. Amend Regulation R16-6 to read as follows:
Except as otherwise specifically provided in the regulations appearing in this chapter and except as provided by local legislation, it shall be lawful to take raccoon by trapping in all counties east of the Blue Ridge Mountains from December 1 through the last day of February, both dates inclusive. Regulation R 1 6-6.1, prescribing the trapping season for raccoon from December 15 through the last day of February in certain coutnies and areas, is hereby rescinded.
