This is the hope of Mr. and Mrs. Carrigan as they cordially invite the people of Rappahannock to celebrate the Fourth of July in Washington on the hills surrounding Avon Lake; to bring their families and their picnic baskets and enjoy the evening.
Parking space is available on Main and Gay streets and entrance to the grounds at Avon Hall is by the town monument. Bring a blanket or folding chairs and make yourself comfortable, urged the Carrigans. Please use the trash containers conveniently located for leftovers and trash.
