PUBLIC HEARING
The Washington Town Council will hold a public hearing on July 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the Rappahannock County Courthouse, Washington, Virginia, to receive public comment on the Town’s first Comprehensive Plan.
The Town Comprehensive Plan is a study of the Town’s natural environment, population, employment, land use, community-facilities, and transportation characteristics. It also establishes goals and objectives and describes the means for implementing town policies. In summary, it is a guide for the future growth and development of the Town of Washington for the next twenty years.
Copies of the Comprehensive Plan are available for inspection by the public at the County Clerk’s Office, Washington, Virginia.
