MRS. C. E. JOHNSON, JR., newly-installed Regent of the Culpeper Minute Men Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, receives the gavel from out-going Regent, Mrs. Edgar F. Puryear, Jr. Mrs. Johnson, with nine other officers, was installed by Mrs. John S. Kearns, Director of District VI following a Flag Day luncheon at Mrs. Puryear’s home in Madison County. Others from Rappahannock County who will serve three year terms with Mrs. Johnson are Mrs. Dale J. Metzinger, Treasurer, and Mrs. Maurice F. Biddle, Recording Secretary.
