Last Saturday was a vendor’s dream at the Rappahannock Farmers Market. With many old customers returning and new ones appearing, most vendors were sold out by closing time.
Beets and beans made their first appearance of the season and a more bountiful supply of produce is expected at the market in the coming days. A new vendor with handwork, including covers for kitchen appliances, had a booth and was pleased with results.
The market members will participate in the July 4th celebration in Washington and will have a miniature market with fresh produce, canned and baked goods and a few crafts.
