County social services programs are unlikely to be affected by state budget cuts due to increased federal aid, according to a memo from the state Department of Social Services.
Counties are getting little information about the effects of the 6-percent cuts in all state agencies Gov. L. Douglas Wilder says he will impose in the 1993-94 fiscal year budget due Jan. 8. State agencies and depart-'1 ments have turned in budgets reflecting 3-, 6-, and 9percent cuts.
