a difference in the lives of young boys, the adventures of Scouting’s outdoor program, leadership training and many others.

Our community is fortunate to have two very good Boy Scout Troops and a. Cub Scout Pack which meet at Trinity Church in Washington and the Flint Hill Fire Hall.

I want to encourage any man, age eighteen to eighty-plus, to follow in the footsteps of Rappahannock County’s Citizen of the Year, Paul Nichols, by becoming a Scouting volunteer.

If you have three to five hours a month to give, I promise you it will make a significant difference in your own life, the lives of the boys, and our community.
