On behalf of the Amissville. Community Christmas, sponsored by the Amissville Ruritan Club, Baptist Church, United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and Bethel Baptist Church, we wish to thank all the people who contributed in so many ways tq make this effort so successful. Thanks to everyone Who donated food, money or time to assemble the food baskets or to deliver the food, fruit baskets ancl flowers. We extend a special thanks to Lombardy’s Restaurant whose guests contributed so generously to the food drive at their Christmas party.
This year we reached 75 homes. Individuals who helped deliver the items reported that those who received them were most grateful.
What a good feeling to know that' our community brought so much joy to* people who may not have been touched" by the Christmas spirit otherwise.
Thanks again to all who responded so generously. May your New Year be filled with all the love and joy thar you shared at this time of the year. ■* ;
