Mardi-Gras Planned A Mardi-Gras for the local high school youth sponsored by “Friends to Mom”, an interdenominational Christian group will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 21 at the Trinity Episcopal Church Fellowship Hall. The program on love and dating will be presented by El&ine Sanders. Food will be provided and prizes will be awarded for the best costumes. For more information all 987-9336 or 987-8137.
Practical Nursing Aptitude Testing George Washington Carver - Piedmont Technical Education Center will begin testing on Feb. 7 for those who are interested in applying to the Practical Nursing Program that begins in September, 1996. This is an eighteen month course that prepares a graduate to take the National Council.Licensure Examination for becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse (L.P.N.). Call 825-0476 to register or for further information about the testing and/or the program. A $7 testing fee is required at the time of registration.
