Then on v,fyiday the team traveled to Strasburg and won again to bring its record to six wins and two losses (4 and 2 in the district). • Panther shooting was miserable In the first half of the Page game. “If ^ve’d hit half our shots and half our Jayups, the game wouldn’t have been hlose,” Coach Eugene Baltimore Commented following the game. Willie Eastham and Jason Carter missed several layups in the first half. Longer shots by Jeff Atkins and Jason Brown were no more successful. Jon Butler picked up some of the ^lack and led the scoring with 26 points including three three-pointers, feff Atkins added 14 and Willie Eastham had 13. ! Rapp trailed 31 to 24 at the end of khe first half but pulled up in the third Quarter as shooting improved and ^railed by only one point, 42-41 going ^nto the final quarter. * With 34 seconds to go Rappahannock led by only two points, 63 to 61, but thereafter Page •was shut out as repeat trips to the foul Jine added to the Panther score.
