Although I wasn’t crazy about our ice storm, I did appreciate having a white Christmas. We were the guests of Larry, Donna, Sandy, and Larry Oliver Jr. the evening the storm hit. We were fortunate they live close by because the roads were nasty. By the time we started home, the VDOT trucks had treated the main roads making it a little easier to stay between the ditches and we thank everyone who was out working to make the roads passable.
