He works as an usher at Trinity Church, with the Rappahannock Literacy Volunteers and as a library volunteer. Presently on the library board, Hartline’s efforts are appreciated. “John is a real asset to the library board and a pleasure to have as a library volunteer,” said Library Director David Shaffer. “I can’t imagine the place without him.”
