Beatrice Schurtz

Formerly of Amissville

Beatrice Schurtz of Springfield, formerly of Amissville, died Dec. 21.

Survivors include her husband Robert E. Schurtz of Springfield; three sons Gary Schurtz of Alexandria, Roy Schurtz of Harpers Ferry, W.Va. and Stanley Schurtz of Manassas; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Additional survivors include a sister, Jessie Clarke of Herndon and a brother, Andrew Smith of Leesburg.

Funeral services were held on Dec. 24 at Franconia Baptist Church in Alexandria with interment at Pohick Cemetery.
