Airman Ronald S. Dodson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene M. Dodson of Viewtown has completed basic training at Amarillo AFB, Texas. He has been assigned to Lowry AFB, Colo., for training in the supply field. Airman Dodson is a 1968 graduate of Rappahannock County High School. The Rappahannock Garden Club held its annual Christmas luncheon on Saturday. Among those attending the event were Mr. and Mrs. Howard Waddell of Boston, Mrs. Ralph Smiley of Amissville and Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Perkins of Sperryville. The luncheon is held instead of a regular December meeting and the program consists of exchanging gifts, the wrappings of which are judged in place of an exhibit. Each member participates in the judging and persons acting in this capacity are Mrs. W.H. Cordle, Mrs. M.F. Biddle, both of Sperryville, Mrs. Evan A. McNear and Mrs. W.C. Hall, both of Washington.
