The New Year is upon us and my New Year’s resolution is not to make a resolution since I can’t remember ever keeping one. However, my wish for everyone is for us to remember to put God first, our family second and let everything else fall where it may.
Thank you to each of you who has taken the time to give me news, tell me you read our column and recognize me by name or face when I write a check (and accept the check, anyway). You make the time spent on preparing the news so much easier to bear and you are appreciated.
Hope to hear from you “next year” on your holidays. I will pick the news up by noon on Sundays from the box at Hackley’s store. Enjoy the school break because schools reopen Monday, Jan. 4. Happy New Year!
