In our daily lives we should be vigilant for such 'weeds' as pessimism, temptation, faithlessness. Certainly they creep in and try to destroy the beauty and fruitfulness of our lives. How can we destroy them first?
By planting the seeds of faith, hope and optimism! They're all gifts of the spirit. The Bible is our guide to the spiritual garden...our 'spiritual weed eater*, if you will. Reading of the scripture each day will educate us in matters of the spirit A very important adjunct to Bible study is weekly worship, for it is in the house of the Creator we leam the meaning of His Word.
