Accomplishments of the Amissville Area Community Association were many over the past year and a list has been compiled to help all residents better understand the function of this organization.
• June 2000 - participants at Sperryville Civil war Days and served barbecue sandwiches.
• June 2000 - ran the sand art booth for the annual Amissville Volunteer Fire Department.
• Participated in the children’s game area during the County s Fourth of July Celebration.
• Active in the October Amissville fall festival which was a huge success. Special thanks to Mary Brown, who had the idea for a festival. Presently we are gearing up for the second annual Fall Festival to be held Oct. 13 in conjunction with Fire Prevention Week. Anyone who would like to participate
