The newly created 15th Legislative District is the result of the state wide redistricting which takes place every ten years. All one hundred of Virginia’s Legislative Districts have been changed.
The new 15th consists of the counties of Shenandoah, Page, Rappahannock and the Swift Run precinct of Rockingham County.
On Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2001, in addition to choosing a new Governor, Lt. Governor, and Attorney General, Virginians will also be electing the one hundred new representatives to the House of Delegates. This Democratic nominating caucus is an important step in the election process for the voters of the 15th Legislative District.
