I would like to express my appreciation to the members of Companies 1, 2, 4 and 7 who responded to the bam fire on my property the evening of July 27.
It is truly gratifying to live in a community where neighbors voluntarily respond to help neighbors in distress. I have checked the dispatcher’s log and see that the first engine reported on the scene 12 minutes after I placed the 911 phone call.
