The last of the seven towers applied for is “Huntly Slope,” proposed as a 100 foot monopole located on a 106 acre parcel also owned by Arland Welch. This facility is to be located near the intersections of Routes 522 and 673 at 9 Little Mountain Road in Huntly but, as proposed, would be installed within an existing silo that has been modified with a “stealth” cap.
Present plans call for the application to be heard by the Planning Commission at their September meeting (Sept. 19) and, because of the broad interest, the meeting venue will be the RCHS auditorium.
