way the mentor is being guided in his own process towards being a leader.
It is this process which Starfish hopes to encourage in our community. Starfish is always looking for people who want to put their energy into a partnership such as this, who wish to enhance their own skills while working with another, and who want to pass on their enthusiasm for living in the process of doing it. It requires no special skill, just the motivation of spending time with another, and the desire to re-acquaint oneself with the energy of learning something new.

The current program continues to thrive. In June, Starfish adult mentors participated in a retreat, which brought them together with the executive committee in a workshop to explore some of the issues they have been encountering, and to enhance their communication skills. It gave them an opportunity to share their experiences with each other, and to brainstorm ways of increasing their success as mentors.
The participants were enthusiastic about this format as an adjunct to the already existing Roundtable discussions, and workshops will be offered at least yearly in the
